Jack doesn’t even realize yet how lucky he is to have a Mom as strong, smart and resilent as you are. I have no doubt that you will beat this and you will use your story to inspire others.

  4. Hi Liz,
I wanted to reach out to you. I found a comment you made on Emily Taylor’s blog and couldn’t believe the similarities in our stories. I am 33 years old and was diagnosed last month with stage IV lung cancer. I was 30 weeks pregnant at the time of diagnosis. They induced me at 33 weeks on June 19th and I had my son William Jack, who was 5 pounds and is home and healthy now. If you want to chat about anything, share stories, research, or just vent, know there is someone out there in almost the same boat as you. Feel free to contact me. I’m so glad you have the ROS marker and will get a targeted treatment. I’m still waiting on an additional panel of genes, but so far I have not tested positive for the common ones. Here’s hoping….

  12. Hi Liz!

I wanted to follow up one last time on behalf of AbbVie regarding the VESTA Study (VESTAStudy.com) which is currently recruiting patients with advanced or metastatic squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). We want to provide patients with information about this study opportunity as well as spread the word for lung cancer.

I hope you will consider sharing this information with your audience. If you have any questions at all, feel free to contact me at pmeckler@gopraxis.com.

    Thanks!

  20. I just learned (from another blogger) of Lizzie’s untimely, unexpected death, and though I have never met her, I found myself weeping at the loss. Her voice was one worth raising, and I dare say that it did world’s of good — the echoes will continue to resonate. My very best to her family and friends, who I hope will wrap themselves in fond memories and continue pushing her mission forward.
